I’m Eli, I am a mom of three crazy and amazing kids. I first became a mom at 19 years old. September 2013 I was in my first semester of freshman year at college and found out I was expecting my first baby. The end of my junior year I learned we were expecting another bundle of joy. I took a year off of school and went back and finished out my senior year of college graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology in May of 2019 and in November of that year I finally got to marry my now husband. We had been together since January of 2012 and because of school and all the babies we held off on getting married until I graduated. August of 2022 we found out we were expecting our third and final baby he was born April 2023. My third pregnancy and postpartum experience was so much different than my first two. I have been successfully breastfeeding my third while with my others I had so many issues with nursing from just not enough resources in my area to help me succeed. My youngest has a cows milk protein allergy so we are on a dairy-free breastfeeding journey. I am still learning so much about this myself because there isn’t a wealth of knowledge out there like there seems to be with everything else. And most doctors don’t really know about it and the resources to help moms successfully go dairy-free while breastfeeding just aren’t there. I created this blog to help highlight some of the resources that have helped me along the way from my first baby to my last and to share all of the fun things about motherhood and being a stay-at-home-mom.
